False Creek Ferries Ballet | FREE
They may be little boats, but they put on a big show! Watch an aquatic
ballet consisting of False Creek Ferry boats sailing gracefully across
False Creek.

Artists in Action – Federation Gallery | FREE
Artists are in action at the Federation Gallery! Come visit our guest artists
on site while you browse the vibrant summer show representing some of
our most recognized Federation of Canadian Artists.

Glass Making Workshops | $35 per person
Join the artists on Canada Day and make your very own glass flower! Just
purchase a ticket at the front counter, you’ll be given a time slot (approx.
20 min.), and then you can make magic happen! Ages 14 and up, those
under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, details available in store.

Looking for fun for the whole family? Check out the False Creek
Community Centre, and you’ll find what you’re looking for! From carnival
games to children’s entertainers to a BBQ fundraiser hosted by the youth
program; this bunch of events is a family must-see!

Craft Association of BC Workshops | FREE
You don’t have to be a professional artist to enjoy this event, but you might
have to be a bit crafty to find a good spot in the crowd! A wide array of
crafts will be showcased including stained glass windows, paper marbling,
polymer clay sculpture and even some hands-on basket weaving.

Kids Market & Patriotic Pooches | FREE
If you visit the Kids Market on Canada Day, there will be plenty of ways to
celebrate the People and Pets of Canada. Learn to foster or adopt orphaned
kittens with the help of VOKRA, Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue.

Witness one-of-a-kind local and international talent in unique outdoor
locations on Granville Island. Fire-jugglers, singer-songwriters,
magicians, and instrumentalists of all kinds are but a taste of the myriad
performances you can expect. If you enjoy what you see and hear,
please be generous – these artists rely on your contributions.

Impress yourself and everyone around you with your very own postcard!
I’m Impressed will be providing blank postcards, stamps, and ink, all you

Granville Island’s wildly popular nine-foot tall Captain Canada and
Duh Hockey Guys are back to bring out the cool and quintessential Canadian in us all. Mortal Coil’s stilt horses win the prize for most original and beautiful alternative transportation! Anything can happen on Granville Island so watch out for larger-than-life characters that entertain the child within.
