Turkey Trot
October 13
Time to work off that gravy from last night – or make room in your belly for tonight’s turkey feast – either way, a 10 km run will do you good! The 10th Annual Turkey Trot will be taking place Thanksgiving Monday, starting on Granville Island, winding its way around False Creek, and ending at the same spot. Even if you don’t feel like running, stop by to watch the fun, and bring a donation for the Vancouver Food Bank; last year’s trot brought in 2,000 pounds of food and almost $5,000 in cash donations! For more information, visit www.turkeytrot.ca or call 604-816-1730.
